Sign The Petition For A New Express Bus Service
What am I asking for?
I’m calling for a brand-new Express Bus route from Enfield Lock through Ponders End to Tottenham Hale. This would be a fast, limited-stop service running down the A1055 Mollison Avenue, perhaps part of the Superloop network, and giving our community the kind of quick, affordable connections that people in other parts of London already enjoy.
How will it help?
This service would be a game-changer for our area. It means cheaper, faster journeys to jobs, colleges, and training, and a direct link to the Victoria Line at Tottenham Hale in under 25 minutes. It would offer an alternative to unreliable trains, cut traffic on our already congested roads, and help clean up our air. Most importantly, it would give residents in Enfield Lock, Brimsdown, and Ponders End and beyond the fair transport deal they deserve - so people here can get to work, study, and enjoy London without being held back by poor connections.
What can I save?
Right now, getting from Enfield Lock to Tottenham Hale by train costs £58 a week for a weekday commuter. With the new Express Bus, the same journey would be just £17.50 a week – saving over £40 a week if you travel every day.
Over a year, this could add up to £2,000 saved – money that could go towards your bills, your family, or simply enjoying life.
This is why I’m fighting for a faster, fairer Express Bus route for Enfield.
Please sign the petition and let’s make this a reality.
